Transferrable Skill
Explain how you will use this skill during the course
Camera angles
Being able to use the camera to get the perfect angle for a clip. This also makes the video/clip far more interesting to the viewer. As they have a better aspect of the clip/video.
Communication
Being able to communicate well with a team or group. Being able to get messages across the group.
Production and Creativity
Being able to complete a story line, or to make the viewer know what genre they are watching without even having to tell them. Also having an input to the group instead of standing back letting everyone else do the work. Giving ideas to the group.
Passion
Wanting to find out new things every day, about how you can improve your skills.  If you are doing something you and enjoy and that your passionate means you will thrive at it.
Making small projects
Making small projects independently and picking up new skills after every project. Which you can use as an input for a group discussion.


Role
Responsibilities
Director
Are the driving force in film production, they make the big decisions
Producer
They supervise the making of the film before showing it to a film distributor
Production Manager
Organises the stage and the coordination and control of manufacturing processes
Set Designer
Creates the whole design and style for the set on film and uses props etc..
Art Director
Art directors realise the production designer’s creative vision for all the sets locations that give production their look.
Cinematographer
Is the cameraman who decides the camera angles and lighting. Being the cameraman is as important as directing.  
Production Designer
Is responsible for the overall look of the filmed event such as films. They have a key role in the creation of motion pictures and television.
First Assistant
They track the daily progress against the filming production schedule. They also have to take care of the crews health and safety.
Editor
The editor puts all the film and audio together. Also making sure that all the clips run smoothly.
