How to set up a project in final cut pro 16.21

Step 1: Go into Final Cut Pro, click Final Cut Pro at the top of the screen and go into 'System Settings'

Step 2: Make a folder in the HD 2 by clicking 'Set".  Then set the Waveform Cache, Thumbnail cache and autosave vault. Choose all of these to go into the folder you have made in HD 2.

Step 3: In your folder in HD 2, make a new folder called 'Footage'.

Step 4: Drag any files you have that you want to include in Final Cut Pro. E.g Video and photos. Drag these from the desktop or from another folder, Into your footage folder. 

Step 5: Then import your footage from the footage folder by going on Final cut Pro, clicking file, import, files. Select your footage from there

Step 6: After you have worked on your project, you need to click 'File' then 'Save All'. And add the project to your named folder in HD 2.
